Dear Parents,
One of things most boys remember best about scouting is the great
adventures that they experience while scouting at Summer Camp!
This year we are attending the beautiful, Camp Chawanakee on
July 29, 2007 to August 4, 2007, which is sits among towering
pines on a beautiful peninsula on the shores of Shaver Lake in the
Sierra Nevada’s East of Fresno.
We understand for
many of you, especially for the new parents and boys, that this is
a new experience for to have your sons go on a weeklong “field
trip” with their fellow scouts away from home. So, we so we
are holding a Parent’s Meeting for Camp Chawanakee on
Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007 From 7-9 PM @ the Brea Scout House that
will cover many things including what each boy needs to bring,
costs, meals, the facilities, the classes & merit badges, required
medical forms & permission slips, transportation, & supporting
your scout…
