Troop 801 will have a strong presence
at this year's Brea Community Country Fair and we need help from parents and
scouts.
Starting on June 28, we
will start taking a look at the food and game booths used at the Country
Fair. This will be finished on July 3. The location will be at
either Mr. Nunley's or Mr. Silva's home.
July 3, we'll be in the Scout House at 6:30 pm to
start cutting up the chicken. If you've never experienced cutting up
hundreds of pounds of dead birds, come join us.

Early July 4, we'll be more than dual tasking.
We'll be helping the Kiwanis Club of Brea, our Charter Organization, with
their pancake breakfasts. Scouts will be working in the serving
line, cooking pancakes, seating guests.
At the same early hours, scouts and parents will be
setting up the double food booth and the game booths.
There are still several positions
available for the Country Fair on July 4th. This is the most important
fundraiser of the year and it is important to the scouts that all the adults
participate.

Areas that really need help
are:
| Workday / Booth Renovation
(weekend before the 4th) |
|
| Booth Setup |
|
| Food Booth Duty |
|
| Game Booth Duty |
|
| Prizes / Game Booth |
|
| Donations - Food Booth |

MARK WILLIAMSON |
| Chicken Cutting Prep |
CAMILLE HEAGERTY |

Each position is very important to the success of this fundraiser. Everybody
has the opportunity to help.
Remember, this fundraiser helps defer
the thousands of dollars in costs for our outdoor programs throughout the
year.
